Compliant with the 40GBASE-ER4 standard, this module supports 40GbE transmission over single-mode fibre (SMF) with distances of up to 40 kilometres, making it ideal for long-haul fibre links, metropolitan networks, and high-capacity backbone connectivity.

The module uses CWDM optical multiplexing technology, combining four optical lanes into a single fibre pair via a duplex LC connector, delivering reliable high-bandwidth transmission with efficient fibre utilisation.
