The Cisco ONS-XC-10G-54.1 is a high-performance 10G DWDM XFP optical transceiver designed for Cisco optical networking platforms and high-capacity transport networks. This module supports OC-192, STM-64, and 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GE) applications, enabling reliable long-distance optical transmission over DWDM fibre infrastructure.

Operating on DWDM Channel 54 at 1554.13 nm with 100 GHz channel spacing, the transceiver enables multiple high-speed optical signals to be transmitted simultaneously over a single fibre pair, significantly improving bandwidth efficiency in carrier-grade networks.
